DVD Authoring
The DVD specification allows for lots of interesting features to be added to your production. They include audio commentaries, alternate languages and angles, slideshows, subtitles, web access, full motion menus, ROM content and scripting that will bring your project to life and make it easily accessible to your target market. Below are some examples of DVDs that Thrive has authored.
Wedding DVDs
Here are three examples of wedding DVDs that are stylistically very different to each other. Some have chapter menus whilst others have just a single menu as a launch area for the content. The Cinessence menu is quite complex and can remember the option that a user has selected when the menu changes.
Sing to the Well
Sing to the Well was a DVD project that was packaged as an extra in a CD album release. The CD was released to raise money to buy a well in Tanzania. The DVD allowed the user to explore what had gone into the making of the CD and more about the project itself. Slideshows, movie clips, and documentary sections were all combined to give a unique experience to the viewer.
Epidemic Life Promotional DVD
This DVD was used to promote the Epidemic Life '08 youth conference. It contained footage from the previous year (worship and talk), a still gallery, video information and web access to direct people to the booking form and further information.
